Everything was very comfortable, very amiable staff, STUNNING views of the mountains and city landscape. Its location was convenient, close to everything we enjoyed to look at.

I've had a very very good stay on holidays. Really enjoyed this brand-new hotel: good food and professional staff. The position of the venue was quiet, close to the city for the event. A nice size room, besides I had an absolutely stunning view over Ross Creek out to the hills.

Central Holborn boasts a fantastic location, just a short walk to the city center and the Cowboys stadium. With numerous eateries and a cinema right across the road, meal options are plentiful. the pool offers a lovely river view, and there’s convenient guest parking available.
No linen or towel change. Air conditioning underwhelming.

It was very clean, well set up with ensuite and laundry.loved the fullsize kitchen and pool area.daughters reallyenjoyed eating on the patio overlooking the tidal creek-saw so many fish and sea life from our patio-husband was itching to fish.wouldlove to come again
Just one little thing-maybe a doona on the beds or a few extra blankets in the wardrobes for the cooler nights.

Modern well designed room. Clean and comfortable.
Only complaint is lack of adeqate kitchen utensils in our unit. Nit picking I know, but for such a lovely modern apartment the kitchen was stocked with a mish mash of eqipment.Looked like it come from the op shop. We made do though and had laugh.

I recently stayed at the Holborn Apartment Hotel in Townsville for a week and at around $130/night for a an aprtment, it was great value. The apartment complex is quite new and construction of presumably another apartment complex is scheduled on the adjacent block of land. This may be an isssue if you take a hotel room as these face directly onto the adjacent block however, if you take an apartment it should be fine as these south towards the river. I stayed in a one bedroom apartment and it was clean and comfortable with all the mod coms I need. The balcony off the lounge area is generous in size and great for dining. The kitchen is fully equiped with a stove, cooking elements, full sized fridge, pantry and cupboards including crokery and cutlery. Lounge area is comfortable and has a cheap LCD TV as well as a DVD player. Bedroom is fine but directly adjacent to public passageway, which includes access into apartments/hotel rooms and all of the associated noise. Bathroom includes shower, toilet and handbasin and has plenty of room/space for one or two people.
1. Reception is open between 7.30am and 6pm. You need your swipe card to get in outside these hours, which is not a problem for most but if ur looking a 24hr reception this not the place for you. 2. Apartments are not cleaned during your stay. The apartments are nice and clean when you arrive but if you mess it up during stay you will need to clean it up yourself. 3. Noise carries throughout the entire complex and attempts to minimise noise are almost non-existent. Apartment/Hotel room doors slam shut with a loud bang and will wake most people in nearby rooms/apartments due to poor acoustic attenuation along the public passageway and because the room s are poorly sealed against noise. Also noise from the nearby trains/railways carries across the southern creek/river directly into the apartments.

It was a great central location, brand new developement and will be a fantastic spot when the V8's are on.
The lounge chair was too modern and uncomfortable to sit on for sustained periods.
